Will There Be Pets In Heaven? by Susan Harris

Yes or No could be so boring at times, can't it?

To catch my drift on the topic, click on the video below:

This clip is part of an episode for my show Eternity that was taped on location at our farm to accomodate the four-legged adorable ones. Happy watching.

“You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.” Revelation 4:11 (NLT)

Eternity is hosted by Susan Harris on Access7 Television in Saskatchewan. The weekly program is a corollary to her upcoming release of her memoir TOUCHED BY ETERNITY: A TRUE STORY OF HEAVEN, HEALING, AND ANGELS.

Well, Susan, I'm not all the way there, yet (smile), but you do make a good case in your enjoyable and well-done video. Yes, you provoke thought.
I suspect that the 'baleful' wall backdrop to your set will warm the hearts of your farming or retired farmer viewers! ~~+~~

Provoking thought is what I’ve been doing best since I decided to share my near-death experiences, Peter (grin). I’m so happy that the clip got you thinking, and that you enjoyed our kitties too. It’s really simple – animals are in heaven. Jesus did not die for them so they don’t need salvation to get there.

The lion, kid, wolf, leopard, lamb, snake etc that are named as being in Heaven represent animals on a polar spectrum, predators and prey. Animals are used as needed to make the point.
Feline groups include the lion, and leopard…cats are felines.
Wolves are from the canine group, as are dogs.

I have friends who have snakes as pets, and lambs too.
I expect to see all the creatures named in the Proverbs and OT, including the plagues, for everything will be restored and incapable of evil. Guinea pigs, lizards, the whole gamut I expect to see.

Very importantly, one near-death experiencer wrote about seeing her pet kitten in Heaven, and since my own NDEs, I am very open to the experiences of others.

I’d love to know your thoughts on why you “are not there yet” (smile). Would you care to see the entire 20-minute video?

Happy Family Day, Peter.

Hi Susan,
I agree with you. There will be animals in heaven, that is the new heaven and earth that we will experience after Christ returns. Be blessed.

Amen, David

They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain,” says the Lord. Isaiah 65:25

And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” Revelation 5:13 (this took place in Heaven).

Susan, I should have expressed myself more specifically. I've no doubt and it is clear that there'll be living non-human creatures in heaven in addition to redeemed human beings and anthropomorphic angels.
However, to this point in my life I've not experienced an NDE or otherwise been granted a personal interior view into heaven providing a sighting of my family's numerous pets from over the decades, and therefore I don't expect to see them there.
Ah, but perhaps I'm a candidate for a great and delightful surprise!
BIG :) ~~+~~

Got you, Peter. I have not seen animals but I believe (without seeing). Thanks for the clarification. We'll have to team up to go animal-hunting in Heaven. Grin.

Hunting? Now, did I not read quoted somewhere, that "they shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain . . ."? (Smile)
I suppose though, that one can hunt to find, spot and view, without hurting or killing. ~+~

Ha, ha, Peter. The second interpretation it is. To seek them out. Like we hunted for Moka when she darted in the woods.
