I have used Microsoft Publisher for many years when I first started designing web pages, now use it to make my brochures about my book, book markers, etc. I tried scrivner when it was at trial for pc, need to check it out again. I also keep close at hand the Chicago Manual of Style Guide at work and home. We have dragon software at work, but no one knows how to use it and I don't have time to learn it, lol. Wish I did. Thank you for the infoJacquelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06037261003957874781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6213977381458736343.post-53795865588893041722011-07-12T10:34:46.473-04:002011-07-12T10:34:46.473-04:00Good work, Linda. But for a thesaurus, I have a huge book of one from Websters, that I absolutely love. I'll always use it because it has related nouns, adj etc.Mystery and Mayhemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03977251231944347672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6213977381458736343.post-16288592584877702532011-07-11T22:12:43.894-04:002011-07-11T22:12:43.894-04:00Great post, Linda. Sometimes it takes a visual reminder to get that word to pop up in your head that you know is right but can't quite retrieve out of your memory. I do have to admit I loved Word Perfect, but changed to avoid the hassle of hearing myself called all those threatening names.A writer has to do what a writer has to do sometimes.Ann H.
